First things first.... I am SABRE, a long standing name that was given to me in the early 1970's by very close biker friends in my outlaw club days. (I am much better now.. thank you)
.
.
I do not ride a Honda Sabre, nor have I ever rode one. Not that I have a problem with them. I believe it is the riding experience we share that is important not the ride we sit our butts on, however...
I am a Harley Davidson pilot through and through. I have the ego, pride and everything that comes with riding one! My wife, however, rides a Suzuki trike and My brother by blood rides a VTX Honda 1300! I am trying to convert them though. It is my job as a Harley owner.

My typing and spelling skills sometime suck, as I do this site usually after 24 hours without sleep, and without Blacks input would probably not be understandable.
Black will update the files when ever she gets tired of reading the mistakes in grammer and spelling.. Now that I have that out of the way........

Welcome to our site for information on Motorcycle riding in Canada and our tours around the world.
.
For those who think our riding season above the 49th parallel is limited somewhere between polar bear races, hockey games and ice fishing, then I have a surprise for you.
.
We are a group of hard core motorcycle riders, male and female, who brave riding in all weather conditions and all times of year, although the best times to ride in and around Calgary, Alberta, Canada are April through November.
.
Unlike some of the bikers in other countries, we do not put our bikes away when the temperature goes below 60 degrees F. we ride as long as the pavement or ground is safe for the bikes.
.
Our leathers are worn and patched and not shiny and new. We ride with new riders and old riders.
We have had chipped teeth and broken glasses from hailstones. We have had cut bodies and sore hands from window frames blown out of high rise apartments by chinook winds. Ice has been melted from our eyebrows and bikes have fallen over trying to get frozen legs over the seats. We have had sun burned bodies (The part that sees the sun anyway) and sore back side cheeks from iron butt riding.
.
Why do we do it? Ask a dog why he likes to ride in a car with his head out the window, eyes blinking and tongue hangin out!
There is no feeling like the one you get from riding your bike in this great country of Canada. To know biking in Canada is to know Total freedom, and the freedom of western Canada has it all. We have mountains, prairies and oceans with such diverse flora and fauna it will take your breath away.
.
The smells of grain farms, fresh cut grass, cedar trees, pine trees, campfires and rain are all around.
The visuals of mountains, forests, prairies, badlands, rivers, lakes and oceans are everywhere.
We have great wild life living in our mountains and prairies of western Canada, besides the biker ladies and gentlemen who ride with us!!
.
That wildlife is pretty safe compared to other places on this planet. Other than a couple of reclusive spiders that are hard to find, and a rattlesnake or two hidden the brush in the semi-desert areas of Saskatchewan, Alberta, and central British Columbia we have a non poisonous community to play in.
.
It is safe to sleep in our open fields, leaning up against a tree with your arms through the spokes of your ride.
.
Grizzly bears and black bears live along our roads. Moose and Elk weighing over a thousand pounds, white tail deer, mule deer, porcupines, badgers, gophers and ground squirrels are here too. In fact we have thousands of animals to see on our rides.
.
I hope as this website matures and people send us their photos, we can help you find your part of Canada, or the worldto ride in!
